:hair This is so wierd,i just noticed that my title for the thread changed.I wrote only "Choose your fav..." and now it says - "Choose your fav... for movie Quantum Leap - Time Child"...

Bartender?! :help

Probably Brian, he sometimes does that in this case its probably to make the title make more sense to those not involved in the nomination thread.

Anyway, I think Holly Fields is my fav nominee. Oh and that Zoe McLellon person is a good choice too, and she shares my birth month :)

Did I forget to mention the working title of the script? ;) Yeah, I just did that so the thread would be more noticable. :)

Five more,why?
And sorry its hard, I have not heard of most of these people, I don't know what styles og acting they do and how good they are. I just did my best to go by the IMDB pics when I chose the Zoey girl.

1.I suggested everyone will choose their top 7 nominees(but 5 would probably be O.K).
2. Think about it this way - No matter their acting Talent at the moment(that what Screen tests are for),what is important is...How Do you picturing sammy-Jo in your mind, and which of the nominees might feet to the image you see in your mind.
3. If anybody want to choose 3 or less it's their right. There's no pressure here.:)

I understand your point but I don't feel right about judging a book by it's cover. That's one reason I am the Sam of my BFF's and my team. :)

I may look through some of the other choices later.

well ok here are some choices of mine although I have never heard of the people so I had to just go by appearence.

1.) Holly Field
2.)Zoe McLellan
3.)Elisabeth Rohm
4.)Tiffani Thiessen

And no offense but how can Tia Carrere be Sammy jo, she's Hawaiian and isn't Sammy Jo southern?

I'm sorry, but place of birth has nothing to do with it!

Shae D'Lyn was born in Texas, but played the BRITISH Lady Alexandra Corrington in the Quantum Leap episode "Blood Moon" (And hers was not the best British accent I've ever heard from an American, though to be fair it isn't the worst either.)

Tia Carrere may not be an obvious choice, nor even necessarily the best - having seen other suggestions such as Amy Acker, and of course Melora Hardin I can see that she would be well down on most peoples list of favorites, but I don't think she should be written off just because she was born in Hawaii. She is a talented actress, used to action scenes in "Relic Hunter", and I think she could offer something to the role.

I think what SBF ment was Tia Carrere's asian look, that might be a little unbelievable for a role of Sam and Abigail's child, because both of them are white.

Yes exactly what I meant sorry Helen I meant no offense please don't be mad.
I was merely meaning to indicate that she has too much of an Asian/Hawaiian look for the role of a white southern girl. The accent would sound out of place on her as well no matter how well she may be able to perform it. It has nothing to do with her nationality at all, just how her nationality shows in her appearence. I did not mean to to imply that I was insulting her nationality. I would never do such a thing.

Sorry again Helen please don't be mad.:|

I'm not mad SBF!

I guess it's just the way I am that I don't even see Tia as 'asian' looking, I just see her as having a healthy tan! It never occurred to me that was what you meant cos to me Hawaii is just another of the United States.

I don't take these differences of opinion personally, and I hope nobody else does either, we are all entitled to our opinions.

As for the accent - well, my comment about Shae stands! (No offense Shae).

On reflection, as I said, Tia is probably not a strong candidate for the role, and there are others I'd rather see play SJ, but I still wouldn't stop her auditioning. (She probably wouldn't be interested anyway!) That's just me.
No harm, no foul, no hard feelings.

May i ask who you'd rather see play Sammy-Jo?!

BTW,A trivia detail about Tia Carrere on IMDB said the following thing: Heritage is "part Chinese, part Spanish, part Filipino."...
