Default Quantum Leap convention

Just wondering if anyone here knew if there was any chance of another Quantum Leap convetion ever happening on Los Angeles. A couple years back there was talk of putting one together and some members were raising money but nothing ever came of it.
Since I had missed the first one,I was hoping there may be a chance at another happening.

I would love this, and would do anything in my power to help make it a reality.

I would have loved to attend that convention, but sadly I wasn't aware of Al's Place at the time so I never knew about it. It looked like a really great time. One of the memebers here posted photos years ago of a giant Ziggy console built for the event. He later said it got busted up and tossed into the dumpster because nobody nearby could save it.

I believe there was an auction and the winner fell through. It was too difficult or expensive to try to move it and nobody wanted to store it.

I think cross-country shipping was in the triple digits, if I remember correctly.
