Default Deaf Awareness

Yesterday, as part of work, I attended a Deaf Awareness Programme. To break the ice, and to have a laugh, the instructor asked us if we could sign what our favourite TV show is.

I was the only one to know . Anybody remember why?

*laugh* I remember asking my Sign Language professor about the signs a while ago. She was rather confused at first and, as I fumbled to try to explain the show in signs, she explained that it more literally meant "Magical Traveller" or "Transitional Traveller". Interesting little tidbit, that

Funny, he didn't say anything to me about it not being literal. He knew straight away. I guess he must have been a fan of the show and knew what I meant. Didn't want to deflat me for having ago.

Ah well, I'm still chuffed to bits. lol
