Default Hmmm...does this sound familiar??

Hey guys,

This is from Matt Mitrovich's blog this morning at TVGuide.com:

Quote:
NBC has committed to a sci-fi pilot from The West Wing's Kevin Falls, about a man who travels back in time to right wrongs....
Huh. What a brand-new idea!! And on NBC, to boot. I'm curious to see how this goes -- if it ends up on their schedule or not. 'Cause wow...it's just so new and original...

Wow. I am underwhelmed by the originality that TV has these days. And the worst part is, if this show does well, and then QL movie is made, QL could be accused of trying to cash in on this new show's success! On the other hand, if this is successful, it might encourage a QL movie to finally be made.

*sighs* At least it's not reality TV. Unless NBC has created a time machine and is sending regular people back in time to change things.

I just came across this on scifi.com and was going to post the exact same thread (Hmmm....does this sound familiar), lol. I really don't know what to think of this except for one thing: does anybody in television have original ideas anymore?
