I'm a poet. I write a lot of poetry. It's been a long time since I watched any QL. I've been getting withdrawal symptoms. XD So today I wrote a poem ABOUT Quantum Leap. And something else I've been worrying about today.
Quantum Leap
My favourite TV show is about a man -
A genius -
Who travels through time helping people.
Kind but cursed.
Too kind?
Maybe.
For although he changes many people's lives for the better
As he travels through time
He cannot stop travelling
He cannot go home.
My best friend is a girl -
A normal girl -
Who tries to help people as she is.
Kind but cursed.
Too kind?
Maybe.
For although she can always make you smile when you're feeling down
Even if she doesn't really know you
Her mother is terminal
Her father is terminal
She might be terminal.
Sam was once given the choice to keep helping people or to go home and be back with his family forever.
Kirsty was never given such a choice.
And probably never will be.
