Hi everyone,

I was just wondering how many of you watch the video clips I put out each Sunday? I haven't heard any feedback on them and was curious if anyone was even watching them lately.

If you don't know, I do release a new Quantum Leap video clip in Al's Video Library each Sunday. Right now I am working on the Conventions section housing several QL conventions over the years.

I hope you find these rare videos interesting and worth your time! (Don't forget... there are more videos throughout the episode guide and in the Evil Leaper section!)
 
Brian, at the moment, I'm waiting for all parts of the convention to be put up before I download them. <G> I've downloaded the "Promised Land" blooper video, but not yet watched. I was star-struck at the "Deliver Us from Evil" alternate ending that I found back in April, as well as a couple of other blooper reels.

Believe me, your hard work is enjoyed by us all!

I only can say one thing: ooohhhhh booooooy!. I didn?t know about the video clips... and knew nothing about the conventions!!!. Oh this is a pity!. I arrive 9 years later:(

Don?t worry, i?ll watch all of them... aren?t you going to do a new convention... near Spain... in Spain better? :hmm

I know a lot of fantastic places to visit... and to eat! :angel

Don't feel bad, Alda. I live in Kansas City, and was already living here by 1998... Only problem was that I wasn't a fan yet! In fact, it was summer of 1998 when I was first formally introduced to QL! If I'd just found it a little earlier, I could have known about the KC Convention and gone!

Now, because there wasn't as much response as expected, they're not planning on having another one here in KC. :(

I've seen all the blooper video's, the sciography, the alternate ending and intro, and the interviews. the convention's and a few others are waiting for a point where I have more time, however... :(

((mutters)) damned computer at work... have to refresh the screen , and i keep losing my posts I'm trying to do.

I'm a big proponent of your site, Brian, and I've mentioned it a couple times over at Jamokie.com/Quantum... the clips, episode guide, fanfiction, sound bytes, Visions... etc.

I think you're doing a bang up job my friend, and wish I could participate more... please have some patience with me.. and by this fall, I'll be back in the swing of things!

Hi Brian

As much as I would love to download the videoclips, I am unable to. I live in an area of Ireland where Broadband is unavailable and the likelyhood of it being made available is remote. All I have it dial-up and it takes hours for me to download one section. If I ever get Broadband, I will be downloading them promptly!

Video Clips!

Hey Brian!

I love those video clips! Love the documentary on QL that was fab. Never got seen in the UK (I don't think).

Love the alternate endings! I sat in shock after it!

Ziggy, what would it take for you to recognize them... say on a burned cdrom?

I would be more than happy to burn what I can and send them to you...

Let me know amigo. I'd hate to have a vital and important fan in the Quantum Leaping circuit not have access to this kind of material!

Seeing as I'm closer to Dermy maybe I could do the CD as I've got them all on CD anyway.

Not butting in or anything Matt, if your willing I'll back down. Let us both know Dermy.

Looks like you got the jump on me here!

I have been working these past couple days on a CD of all the Al's Place Videos and Sounds.

All I am asking for is a $5 donation to help offset the cost of running the website, making the CD, and mailing it. And if you're in a country outside the U.S. an additional $5 to help cover the overseas shipping. (See the page below to find out how much it costs me to ship overseas - yikes!)

This first edition has every video and sound file in Al's Place Video Library and Ziggy's Sounds pages plus the ones listed as "coming soon."

Thanks to both Matt and Sue for offering to make me CDs of all the media from Al's Place. Since Brian is selling the CDs, I have decided to purchase them off Brian to help fund the running of Al's Place. Many thanks to you both for your kind offer, much apprectiated.

Oh you weren't stepping on my toes, Matt!

I just did the disc to make it easy for folks with slow connections or who are overseas and have trouble downloading.

Everything is in one place and easy to watch. No winzip, no waiting, etc.

Lots of people have ordered this CD... I couldn't believe the response and I'm burning the CD's almost daily. I'm not really making any money on them, but it's good to be able to provide the clips to those who are interested. :hurray
