You know errowyn - I reckon you may be able to have a nice little business going with your costumes

Have you tried chasing up movie production companies like mgm?

Here's the most recent pic of me (as in, taken last night before we headed to the Harry Potter midnight showing):

http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pi...2065604&ref=mf

That was taken on my sister's cellphone. My friend took pics on her really nice digital camera; I'm gonna make sure to get those put on my flash drive then get them uploaded for people to see.

I've been told I could. In all honesty though I'm not sure I really want to try persuing film like that. I've been told it's pretty cut throat and I'm far, far too much of a sap to be like that. That and I'd want to make the costuming something anyone can afford and have.

Yeah I heard it can be cut throat - but for costumes also?

Ah ok.

Really? I would think that in the world of machines and foreign labor, a real, on-demand seamstress would be a rare profession. I don't know rather to be relieved, or feel bad for those who want costume-making as a profession.

It's one of those weird things of life, I suppose. With everything being at your fingertips with the internet sometimes it's more difficult to find home made and custom made things.

You look fine! Don't make me come over there and have to slap you across the belly with a wet fish! ....I'll then have to feed the fish to your cats to remove the evidence.

I agree with Errowyn, with the exception of using fish for violence.

Last time I tried posting a link to my Facebook photos, it didn't exactly work. I think this link should work and let you see some of the pictures.

Sadly I didn't make it to the QL convention [only my story did!] - these were taken at the London Film and Comic convention on 19th July.

Oh, And thanks for the flattery folks.

And what's so wrong with using a fish? The cats get it in the end so it's going to waste. Besides, it doesn't have to be a big fish.

I'm sure the small fish would disagree

yep. Sure a creative bunch we got here.

Anyway I think the medium sized fish may split into the small and big fish sections, cause they got no representation of their own

It's not random. It's perfectly logical for a conversation to turn from pictures to what size of a fish one should hit somebody with. Right?

As the intended victim here - I should also like to point out that I don't approve of cruelty to fish!
Actually my Nan used to have a saying, that something was 'better than a slap in the belly with a wet cod-fish' so I've gotten used to this threat.
Even so it is kinda weird to log into a photo thread and see a discussion on the size of weapon that should be used to whack me
I pwomise I'll be good, can we stop now?

I turn into my real self and eat you... Then I remember that the crows are my friends, too, so I go back in time and bring you back to life (and the fish you were all going to slap leaper1 with - nuh-nuhruh-nuhnuh-nuuuhh)... Then I wake up in a padded room wearing a straight jacket and I find out that this never really happened. It was all in my mind.
