Didn't like it. I thought it was way too long and too...expected.

In one word "boring" . And it could have been much shorter,yes

I liked, didn't love, this one. I liked the carnival setting. It had a predictable plot, nothing earthshaking.

I remember this one! Read it when I was a kid! Pretty well written for a TV show spin off I seem to recall.
