That's right. I'm looking out the window and there's about 12 inches of snow on the ground and the snow just keeps on falling! The weather men say that we haven't even seen the heaviest snow yet! Let's here it for 2 feet of snow! I thought I lived in Maryland not Alaska. Oh well.

How the nice weather with everyone else?

Don't feel bad, Anna. We actually got that here a few years ago . . . during the winter break, no less! And the time before then was in March around St. Patrick's Day.

Then again, the blowing winds of Chicago can make the snow piles seem worse than what they actually are.

Here, we're going to get close to 30, but tomorrow's going to be in the mid 30s, and the rest of the week in the 40s.

Boy that sounds familiar... The snow hasn't started yet for us, but we're expecting somewhere around 12 inches by tonight...

What a nice night to curl up with a blankie, some tea and a video of a good TV show... ;)

It's actually close to 2 feet of snow here in NYC.

Apparently in NJ, the snow is so bad, they've declared a state of emergency. I just saw on the news, in NJ, a snowplow got stuck in the snow; it had to pulled out by a plow which was being pulled out by a plow.

Here in New Hampshire we haven't seen the ground since before Halloween. This is not an exaggeration. Oh and by the way, the last time it snowed before that was on May 18, 2002. I remember it because my daughter's T-Ball game had to be cancelled and they had to hold commencement exercises, at the college my husband works for, in a tent because of the snow!!!

Even though we're used to lots of cold and snow in NH, it does seem that this winter is never going to end. We're getting up to 15 inches of snow from the same storm that has hit Maryland, New York, New Jersey and everywhere in between. It's supposed to snow for two straight days. My mother lives in Rhode Island and she says she's seen a robin already, so spring can't be too far behind...hold on everybody!

I'm finally out!

Jeeez. I've just climbed out of the 3 1/2 foot snow bank in front of my house. Know what you mean. It snowed for a solid 48 hour period. No let up at all and constant! We can't even get out our front door because the snow has been blown into a snow drift that almost reaches to the top of the door in the corner. What a storm. Good luck everyone. I'm beginning to go a little crazy. Trapped in the house for 4 days is not a good thing. Schools aren't going to be back in session until at least Friday. :rollin

Pray for my sanity!

Ah well back to shoveling. (ah my aching back!)
