GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!

I read about the first thirty... there are just too many for me to sit down and read through right now. haha

I am a huge fan of '80s music and was doing pretty well... hehe... maybe I'll find time to and make sure I don't cheat. :b

... Mike. ^_^

Okay, before I post my guesses, just remember that I think I did fairly well for a person my age. As I'm nearly 19, I was only born in 1985, so most kids my age have a tendency not to recognize these songs. So, I think I did pretty good.

Joy

>> 1. Suckin on chili dogs outside the Tastee-Freez

Hehehe... I can never seem to get the right title, but I think it's "Jack & Diane". I know it's by John Mellencamp. Do you remember that song in which Jessica Simpson (or was it Christina? they're all the same to me) used the melody from this song in the chorus? Somethin' like "boy, I think that I'm in love with you"

>> 13. You take me by the heart when you take me by the
hand -

"Oh, Mickey!" by Toni Basil! *Every* Sassie should recognize this one!

>> 23. You can listen as well as you hear

"In the Living Years". Can't remember the artist.

>> 27. I am the maker of rules, dealing with fools

"Eye in the Sky" by Alan Parsons Project.

>> 32. Everyone you meet, they're jamming in the streets

"Dancin' in the Street". Can't remember the artist.

>> 34. Every time I see you falling, I get down on my knees and pray

"Bizarre Love Triangle" by New Order.

>> 39. Didn't know how lost I was until I found you

"Like A Virgin" by Madonna.

>> 42. I'm about to lose control and I think I like it

"I'm So Excited". Can't remember the artist.

>> 66. If you want to find all the cops they're hanging out in the donut shop

"Walk Like An Egyptian" by the Bangles.

>> 67. And there's a heart that's breaking down this long
distance line tonight

"I Ain't Missing You At All". Can't remember the artist.

>> 70. Kick off your Sunday shoes

"Footloose" by Kenny Loggins.

>> 78. Watching every motion in this foolish lover's game

"Take My Breath Away". Can't remember the artist.

>> 80. Loving would be easy if your colours were like my
dream, red, gold and green

Carmacarmacarma... Oops. Sorry. Anyway, it's "Carma Chameleon" (or something to that extent) by Boy George.

>> 84. Streetlight people, living just to find emotion

I *think* it's "Don't Stop Believin'". I *know* it's from Journey.

>> 87. Rolling like thunder under the covers

"That's Why They Call It The Blues" by Elton John.

>> 95. There is freedom within, there is freedom without

"Hey Now"? I can hear the song in my head, but I can't think of the title, and I don't know the artist.

>> 96. But whatever road you choose, I'm right behind you
win or lose

"Forever Young" by Rod Stewart.

>> 108. Take your passion and make it happen

"What a Feeling". Not sure about the artist, but I know it's from "Flashdance."

>> 146. So when the night falls, my lonely heart calls

"I Wanna Dance With Somebody" by... Diane Warwick?

>> 151. Bermuda, Bahama, come on pretty mama

Key largo, Montego, baby why don't we go... way down to "Kokomo"... with the Beach Boys, baby!

>> 166. Every time he pulls me near, I just wanna cheer

"Let's Hear It For The Boy". Don't know the artist.

>> 168. Whoa no, I've got to keep on moving

This is my problem. I *know* the song, but I don't necessarily know the correct title. "Nobody's gonna breaka my stride. I'm running and I can't stop now!" (or it goes something like that)

>> 169. Once upon a time there was light in my life, but now there's only love in the dark

"Total Eclipse of the Heart." Can't remember the artist.

>> 173. She dances like she's never danced before

"She's A Maniac". Not sure about the artist.

>> 196. I'll be your friend, I'll help you carry on

"Lean On Me." Can't remember the artist.

>> 202. And when we hear the voices sing, the book of love will open up and let us in

Shoot... I know the chorus of this one, but I don't know the title or artist.

>> 203. Some of them want to abuse you, some of them
want to be abused

"Sweet Dreams." The name of the artist is on the tip of my... fingers.

>> 217. Who needs a heart when a heart can be broken?

"What's Love Got To With It?" by Tina Turner.

>> 219. I'm not the kind of girl who gives up just like that

"The Tide Is High". Don't know the original artist.

>> 220. We don't need no thought control

Oooo... Isn't that "We Don't Need No Education" (not sure that's its actual title) by Pink Floyd? Man, "The Wall" was one screwed up movie. I'm never watchin' *anything* on a bet AGAIN!

>> 223. If I could fly, I'd pick you up

"If I Could Fly". Don't know the artist.

>> 230. I wasn't looking for true love, but now you're looking at me

"you're the only one I can think of, you're the only one I see! AAAAAAALLLLL IIIIIIII NEEEEEED..."

I apologize. Got a little carried away. That would be "All I Need" by Jack Wagner. I *love* that song!

Impressive...you got quite a few right...Just wait intil the answers tomorrow, you'll be kicking yourself of be unable to get some of those lyrics out of your head..lol

Doh! I read the answers thread first. I'm out. ;) Bumping this one above that one now I guess so someone else won't fall prey to my mistake. :)

Yeah, I'm too fast on that scroll wheel sometimes.

Ziiiip.

I shall have to see what sort of questions my wee brain can come up with as penance. ;)

Fate's Wide Scroll Wheel
