Haven't been here in a long while since my site decided to kick out the newsgroup while I was reading it. Usually, the foreword gives a small taste of what is to come, and also, it gives thanks to certain people. Not one to buck a trend, I decided to not mess with tradition. =) THANKS TO: Cheryl Bellucci for allowing me the small tie-in with "A Matter of Trust" Part 7. Check it out in Part III. Dan Gainor at Marquette, for reading my story and putting up with it over the entire summer, even when he was not on campus. And it was nice of him to keep bugging me to get it done, although it did get a bit irritating at time. =) Mark Baushke, for providing the automatic posting. (Darn my net administrator... =) ) SPECIAL THANKS TO: Terri Librande - you are the best! Thanks so much for reading everything I wrote and for pointing me out when things could be done better. Couldn't have done it without you! Now for the preview. Some of the events and people are real - to a point. I had originally intended this story to help me deal with a loss that troubled me, and what better way than to write about that loss? Unfortunately, my brain had other ideas, and the plot took a major tangent. But I like the end result anyway. This is my first story, so I'm extremely happy about that. However, this also means that I may stumble here and there. Bear with me. =) Any comments, criticisms, praise, flames - anything - can be sent to me at 2ei5zemanp@vms.csd.mu.edu. One warning: I will forward all flames to my Physics professor. =) Let's get on to the story. -Phil Zeman, 10/16/93
