At the time of her death, she had plans to edit a story for me, Lover's Leap, which took place at the second Con. Following her death, Lover's Leap took an abrupt turn, to become the (rather lengthy) story I'm about to post in honor of her birthday. Even from beyond the grave, she was a big help to me in writing this, and, for that, I thank her. I also wish to thank countless mutual friends (they know who they are) for the comments, suggestions, et al that they've given me during the last four months of writing. Most of them make an appearance in the story to one degree or another and I give my sincerest apologies to those who didn't. Happy birthday, Miriam. Respectfully Submitted, Jason E. Dzembo
