"Go...go where?" Sam asked sleepily. "We need to be in Houston by four to get things ready for the flight. It's two-o-clock now, so you have enough time to take a shower and then we're outta here," Al said excitedly. "Okay," Sam replied, getting up out of bed slowly. He had slept late, but it was nice to get the sleep. He took a short shower and then he, Al, and Marci all got in the jeep and started on their way to Houston. Once again, on the way there, St. John appeared next to him in the back of the vehicle. "What did you find out?" asked Sam. "I'm afraid the situation hasn't changed much, sir. Alpha still insists that your object is to make the flight and see that it's successful." "Well, Zig...Alpha's been wrong before, you know!" "Alpha says there's an 85% chance that if you don't make the flight that this hurricane could kill thousands of people," St. John agrued, "You have no choice, Samuel." "Don't call me that!" Sam shouted, loud enough for Al to hear. "Don't call you what?" Al yelled back. "Never mind. St. John, what happens to us after the plane disappears?" pha maintains that there is a 74% chance that you, as well as Al ar found any remains, as far as we know. I'm going to go back and see if Alpha has gotten anything from the government." St. John disappeared through the door, never to be seen again. They got to the Naval Base just before four, and they hurried their way to the hangers to ensure that evrything was prepared for the flight, which was scheduled for seven the next morning. Al and Marci decided they wanted to look around the base, and convinced Sam to go with them. They stayed on base looking at planes and control areas until about nine, and then left for the hotel to get a small bit of shuteye.
