Bulletinboards / Sites

This weeks Rodette Column is going to be short and sweet. Recently, I have visited several Quantum Leap bulletinboards and Quantum Leap Sites. Some sites were in hiatus, left alone for over a year or more, while others had been updated recently. The bulletinboards were stagnant, deserted or just completely out there left for people to trash.

I don’t think we know how lucky we are – those who gather at Al’s Place and pay homage to our favorite television show. Yes, we stray off topic once in awhile and even have our own shenanigans that we play, but we come back to our show and give Bellisario, Bakula, Stockwell and Pratt the appreciation they deserve.

When I visited the SCI FI Board – (a hot topic to a few over here)- I found tasteless vulgarities a norm of one poster. It was unpleasant- but it just made my appreciation grow for this site and the people who gather here.

For Brian: My dear, keep up the most excellent job you’ve been doing – finding the wonderful things that you have for this website! How you do it is utterly amazing. You must not sleep… and if you do… it’s dreaming about Quantum Leap… or something very close to it.

For all Rodette Vision Readers: Take a moment and thank your lucky stars that there’s a frequently updated website with a bulletinboard that lets all post freely about their favorite show: Quantum Leap. I for one am most grateful.

So… raise your glass…………

Here’s to Al and Sam, putting things right that once were wrong and here’s also to hoping that Sam makes his way back home and into our embrace once more.
