    QL gone from Peacock

I thought I saw where Amazon is taking pre-orders for the DVD/Blu-ray release of season two. That might explain it somewhat for the remake but no idea why the original would be taken down as well.

Today in Quantum Leap History: October 6

Another great episode! The time is not necessarily linear and the H.G. Wells kind of Time Machine were interesting insofar that they represented both the old and new views of time travel virtually at the same time. The poignant storyline was great, too!

Today in #QuantumLeap History: October 5

This double episode was almost too painful to watch. It was really emotional for me and one just wanted a different outcome so badly! I guess if it evoked that strong a reaction it must have been well written, well acted and a real tribute to the entire cast and crew. If only...

Today in Quantum Leap History: October 2

I've always had a soft spot for boxing movies/shows! This wasn't quite as good as the original series with the nuns and the Ali-Foreman fight stuff but very enjoyable nonetheless!

Not exactly The Blue Lagoon but... ;)

I must admit the whole Evil Leaper thing didn't do much for me.

I really liked the fact that Bruce McGill was in the Pilot and the Finale. His role in "My Cousin Vinney" was memorable, too!

Today in Quantum Leap History: September 9 - Good Morning, Peoria

Another great episode with a really pro-free speech message. Sam really was an Eagle Scout!

I liked Teddy Wilson in both roles he played in Quantum Leap. Just something very likable about him.

    The Time Tunnel

Did anyone ever see the unaired pilot of a remake of the Time Tunnel? It came with the second season DVD of the original series. I thought it was quite good but it never got picked up. I guess there is an inherent bias against time travel shows.

I must say I preferred Diedrich Bader on Drew Carey!;)

I thought I remembered that Scott Bakula played college baseball briefly. Did I imagine it?

Season One now on Bluray and DVD!

I guess no news about season two on Blu Ray/DVD. Even the bootleg stuff from China is no longer on eBay.

Another classic! As a Vietnam era veteran I knew all too many people who came back with pieces of themselves missing both physically and/or mentally. Well written and the young Jennifer Aniston was truly delightful!

Today in Quantum Leap History: August 9

This was one spooky episode. In many ways difficult to watch. Brought back lots of memories. My parents generation knew exactly where they were when Pearl Harbor was attacked. My generation knew exactly where they were when JFK was assassinated. My kids generation have the same feelings about...

Today in #QuantumLeap History: August 8 - Mirror Image

For an ending that wasn't officially planned it was pretty good. Too bad the reboot couldn't (or didn't) make good use of this to build a more compelling storyline.

Neal McDonough sure plays a really good hothead. Later he honed his skills into a really good bad guy in Arrow, The Flash and Justified. The only good guy role I remember him in was in Band of Brothers. His eyes are just piercing!
