Another episode where it appears that more than just small children and animals can see reality! For those who believe in mediums and intuitives this is a really interesting episode. Really put Sam's Boy Scout-like morals to the test as well. :giggle:
That is a good way of putting it - “those who can see reality”

I know lots of people do not like Mirror Image. For many different reasons. But explaining it as all a dream or all in Sam’s head forgets something that we are told in Genesis. Sam originally thinks that first Leap is a dream or nightmare. But he learns his new reality- Quantum Leap is very much real. But hidden from most people. Tamyln is one of the few who sees parts of this reality. Through out the series Sam accepts only the part of reality he can perceive. But the Bartender Introduces to him the understanding that there was many more layers to the onion of reality that he never knew about.

Always found it interesting that this was one of the episodes where Sam was all-in with the lady of the Leap, and this was decidedly after we were all made aware he was, in fact, married to Donna waiting for him at the Project. Also, note that Al goes from teasingly encouraging Sam in the love department as in prior episodes to outright disapproval and staying away. As if he expects Sam to live up to his Boy Scout rep. The character dynamics obviously fascinate me. 😁
