Yes, I discovered that Amazon DVD listing. It’s an Australian company. But shipping through Amazon.com. Curious situation.
I think original removal from Peacock is for Universal to sell it to outside company to stream. Not pretending to be an expert but it’s been a new pattern across most streaming. These studios used their libraries of old movies and tv shows to help launch their streaming services. But they over spent on original content. Now trying to regain profits in selling to other distributors.
The whole business model of streaming is being reaccessed by the studios and the big corporations who are the owners. Where all this leads is hard to say.
I never keep a streaming subscription longer than the time a show, movie is new. Never year round. Few want multiple subscriptions at once for single interests. Separate studios are joining to offer group based bundles.
