Question about original instrumental piece used in "Mirror Image"

I was watching "Mirror Image" again and theres a piece of original big band style instumental music composed for the series that I really like and has stuck in my head since the series debuted. Can anybody identify the track and tell me it's name and if it was ever released on any of the quantum leap cds? The piece begins at 7:49

There was some swing music used in both the leapback and ghost ship. I'm pretty sure that's what you're talking about. There's no data on it being an actual song. Always thought it was composed for the episode.

Yes, It was definetly an original piece of music composed for the series or a piece of production music from Universals vast library,not a song or tune from back in the 40's or 50's. Its a great tune though and I was curious if it ever got released to the public. I know other instrumental pieces used in the series were on the cd,but that wasn't Unfortunately. Some of the best music in the world is production music.
