Some new menu screens?

What concerns me is that the article said that the discs would be double sided. I don't really like double sided discs. Has the UK decided to go with double sided discs like in North America and drop their format entirely? That seems rather odd to me, especially considering that the seasons that I have are all a sort of uniformed format (which I will admit to liking better). Is this simply about the North American release? Or will the UK be releasing their version at a later date?

It was in the article on the link that was posted, at least how I interpreted it. This whole bit with 3 DVD18 disc bit is confusing and perhaps too technical for me, but based on what I was able to ascertain abou the article, Universal wants to use the 'dual sided' discs again, and this in a UK press release, thus my concern.

This is cut and cited directly from the article about QL in the above linked url.

Quantum Leap: The Complete Fifth Season - $49.98 SRP - He’s leaped into lives of the past, but nothing can compare time traveller Dr. Sam Beckett (Scott Bakula) and his wise-cracking holographic guide, Al (Dean Stockwell), for the high-stakes, groundbreaking adventures that await them in all 21 episodes of the fifth and final season of Quantum Leap.

Episodes are spread across 3 DVD18 discs (double-sided, dual-layer) presented in 1.33:1 Full Frame with English Stereo sound and optional English SDH subtitles. Extras include biographies and blueprints from the original sets.

What are these 'Biographies'? They're not mentioned on TVShowsonDVD.com for extras..... are they just Episode Guides or Actor filographies or wotnot?

I'm guessing, following other DVDs I have, that they are just screen listings other films and programme that the actors have been in. Nothing too exciting really.

OK. It's just I know that the R1 DVD releases had Episode Information for each episode like the original airdate and an episode description so I was wondering if this is what they meant, not biographies (Most probably lifted from imdb...)
