When Sam leaps into Katie, a rape victim, no one wants to believe it really happened because the accused person is the son of an upstanding citizen in the community. Sam, with the help of Al and the real Katie in the Waiting Room, tries to make the charges stick this time.

Really good episode! The scene wherein Katie (Sam) kicks the rapist's butt is satisfying but brings into question just how much of Sam is in the person he's leaped into. Rather like the episode where Sam is a mom who rescues her son from a pair of really bad dudes. Once again the butt kicking scene is fun but begs the question.

I feel like the switch in the mechanics of Leaping with no Waiting Room was a misstep in the 2022 series. Sam having to learn how to do what his hosts already knew, or as in the examples above, do something they couldn't necessarily have done was an added layer.

But, as Joey says, it's a "moo" point now. That was the decision they went with.
