Sad to inform you

My mother passed away shortly before 6.30pm last night.
The hospital called at around 5.15pm so the kids were able to go and say their goodbyes, and I sat with her til the end.

Thanks to everyone for their prayers and good wishes throughout her illness.

To sour matters still further, at some point during the week she spent in hospital her purse was taken from her suitcase. When I gathered her things I assumed it had been locked away for safety, but nobody on any of the four wards she spent time on [they kept moving her because the hospital had an outbreak of norovirus] seems to know anything about it.
It seems likely that some low-life took advantage of her being doped to the gills and out of it to help themselves.

Sorry to hear you lost your Mom,it's moments like that that remind us to not take our friends and loved ones for granted,and to say the words that need to be said while you can.

Thats a shame that some low life nozzle walked off with her purse,you've got to wonder how jerks like that live with themselves.
