Re: Things are going to get VERY interesting...
After DZL mentioned the Quantum Leap Book thing, I had a thought... in terms of reference, I believe that most of us use the Quantum Leap: A to Z book by Julie Barrett (for anyone who doesn't have it, it has information on almost all the characters from each episode).
So, here's what I proposed to MJ, and she loved the idea... a new A to Z section on the TVS site (she has one for Quantum Retribution, after all) that would have characters, nicknames, etc. for all the characters starting from Season 6. I've already started making up a list, and just like in the book, I've put each of Sam's "leapees" in CAPS, with the last names arranged alphabetically for quick reference.
So, for example: anyone who wants to look up information on Julianna Calavicci, for instance, would just click on C and scroll down to "Calavicci, Julianna Sherman." Within the descriptions, I would place the episode number in parantheses (with a link to go to the actual episode) so that people could know which episode introduced key developments.
Now, granted, this is going to be a huge undertaking... I'm offering to put this together for MJ, but even I can't do this by myself. So, this is what I'm throwing out there for everyone... if you've read some episodes and know them pretty well (and especially if you wrote them yourself), perhaps we could all try to submit some A to Z descriptions for characters from our stories.
For example, I would make up "Second Genesis" entries for:
Connors, Dr. Maxwell
Genesis Experiment
Lewis, Kate
Marcus, Dr. William
Second Genesis Project
Star Bright Project (updated information)
String Theory (updated information)
VR Quantum Accelerator
WELLER, DR. DAVID
And Sue could make up entries for:
Epochtonusalgraphic Probe
Goniospectrometer (I think that was the name of it...)
And so forth, and so on. I'll do as much as I can, but I need to re-read everything, so it could take quite a while to finish it (this is practically another book, in and of itself). So, any help would be greatly appreciated. I mean... I DO have other VS stories I'd like to write soon too, you know...
Well, anyway... how does this sound to everyone? If you have questions about this, just let me know. I tried explaining this the best I could.
