Things get interesting with all of the leaps with nothing accomplished. Sam leaps into the future for the first time. Al temporaily dies and Sam has a bunch of replacement observers. Things have gone a little ca-ca.
 
To be honest, this was a bit of a confusing episode. I didn't always understand what was happening, and the different holograms were also pretty mean. Plus, Sam didn't seem to think like he usually does, unless that was contributed to the plot twist at the end.
