convention for The Office

Are there any fans of The Office here? There's talk of having a convention in Scranton this fall. I'm not such a big fan of the show myself, at least not yet because I've only seen a few episodes, but I might go just because I live only an hour away.

If anyone here was going, it would be fun to meet you at this con.

Sorry, can't help you with the bear question. I've only seen a few episodes and I don't recall anything about a bear. But there really is a Lake Wallenpaupack.

Dwight scares me. Michael creeps me out. But the show is really funny!

Apparently everyone in Scranton is nuts about this show. Dwight, er, Rainn Wilson came to Scranton a few months ago and the autograph signings went on for hours. They got a much bigger response than they expected. So this past weekend they brought in the actors who play Kevin and Angela and had several events. The mayor attended. So all of that inspired people to have a real convention. Should be a real Scranton party.

I bought seasons 1 and 2 on dvd - GREAT stuff. Also DVR-ed season three. I highly suggest renting it.
