Cocono's in the Poconos
Dean Stockwell's been doing a bunch of projects this year, so here's a list (apologies for cross-posts).

First, I'm proud to announce that Dean has won an award for Best Supporting Actor in a Short Film at the Action on Film International Film Festival in Los Angeles, for the short western Al's Beef. The film also won for Best Original Score. Check the Myspace page:

Um... apparently the Al in this movie is not a nice guy, so it's a funny coincidence, but clearly nothing related to QL. Dean plays the Sheriff.

A new version of the horror film "The Dunwich Horror" has been filmed, starring Dean Stockwell as Professor Armitage (the good guy). Dean played Wilbur Whately in the 1970 original (the bad guy).
Word is that it will be a direct-to-DVD release, and the trailer's
still not available as far as I know.

And his latest film this year, "The Nanny Express," is set to be
shown on the Hallmark Channel in January 2009. It's a romantic comedy.

We know about the Battlestar Galactica TV movie already:

Jan. 2009 is also when the final, final episodes of
Battlestar are supposed to start airing. They have 10 or 11 or 12 hours to show... so I'm guessing that the series finale may be shown about the same time as the Quantum Leap convention or shortly before. 2009, here we come!
