![]() **Bows to Leaper1's know how of words** I'm afraid I can't think of any y-z words so I shall bow out this round and return you back to your regularly scheduled game.

![]() Please post another if anyone finds one.
I'll confess I had help with this from another IT/Science geek... Yottahertz Which is..... wait for it.... One septillion or 10 to the power 24 hertz or a thousand zettahertz. In other words a measure of frequency - a very BIG measure of frequency!!! ![]() ![]()

![]() To complete the loop, it would only be appropriate to have a Z-A word.
Zona This is a beltlike or encircling structure.

This should be fun at the "j" and "q". But, it we did it the first way, I'm sure we can do it the second way as well.

Please point out if I make a mistake here. I'm not as good with the alphabet backwards as I am forwards. ![]()

![]() The alphabet backwards:
ZYXWVUTSRQPONMLKJIHGFEDCBA therefore YEW is incorrect we need a word starting with Y and ending in X

![]() I'll take it seeing as Y-X has everyone stumped and has stopped the game. Moving on, anyone got a X-W word?

![]() Fine, here's a real word to get the game moving.
Yenux Dictionary.com describes it as "A genus of birds comprising the wrynecks".

![]() How about the last two letters of the word. I mentioned it back on page 2, if you forgot.

![]() Sure. Let's say I put up a word like
Gnome. The next person would put up a word that starts with the last two letters, such as Mend. Just make sure that before you (general you) posts up a word, you have another word in mind that would fit the last two letters, so it is doable. Brand would not be a good word, because there is nothing that starts with "n-d".
