May be a while before I get to write/post anymore of the High Hopes anyway. Having thought that with your help I'd be able to get ahead with it, I've hit another sort of snag. (though it is a good thing really)
The story relies quite heavily on the skiing accident Jill Kinmont had in 1955, and I erroneously thought that the lady in question had died some time ago.
However, during my recent research, and thanks in part to joining the Sassies, I came across a yahoo group dedicated to Jill, and discovered that she is very much still alive. In all conscience, I cannot now use her in my story without her permission, which may take some time to acquire.
I am still grateful for any information you can get me, as this pertains to the sub-plot, which I can still be working on.
