Yeah, I was just watching the news about it. 1500 homes gone right now and I think it said 15 people died. Terrible stuff...
A. J. Burfield, my cohort on The Virtual Seasons is in the midst of this horrid thing. The other day, she logged on long enough to say that she was evacuating her house. The next night, she was home, she said that she is about 1/4 a mile away from San Diego County were the fire is at and that ash is everywhere. Said that when they have the house open, they breathe through masks and when they have the air on (only to conserve energy - they asked them not to use a lot of energy) that that's the only time that they are able to breathe freely per se.
I know that my prayers are for her and for everyone else in CA for their health and wellbeing.

Oh, man, I completely forgot she lived out there. I'm praying hard for all the people out there. There are several women on the SBFF that live in LA, and Brendan and Claire on the Sassies are in that vicinity as well.
