  -We don't know much past history about this CIA operative who has been assigned to watch and motivate project personnel to achieve their objective.
  
  -Ross came to the Starbright Project in late 1983. He was assigned by the secret government officials that created the project to achieve these three things: (1) Push forward progress, (2) weed out personnel that are not performing well, and (3) hire new qualified personnel.
  
  -Agent Adams hired Sam Beckett and Julie Ashcroft. Before Sam intervened, Adams had planned on eliminating Al Calavicci, who had a growing problem with alcohol.
  
  -Adams reports to an unseen person he calls "Doctor L".
